A recent study by the Center for Justice & Democracy concluded that lawsuits brought by injured consumers have saved millions of lives and prevented many injuries by forcing negligent manufacturers, polluters, hospitals and other organizations to stop their misconduct. Our firm was established in Newport Beach, California in 1982 by three lawyers specializing in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. We are now a 20-lawyer firm with offices in Newport Beach and San Francisco.

Currently we are representing individuals injured by their use of PPA (phenylpropanolamine), Fen-Phen, Zyprexa, Ephedra, Vioxx, Crestor and Zicam.
Our opponents are usually large multinational corporate defendants who spare no expense in pursuing a "scorched earth" defense. To successfully pursue such cases the firm has brought together a team of nationally experienced trial attorneys. In addition, we frequently collaborate with other nationally known firms to pool resources and pursue our common cause for the maximum benefit of our clients.
